GALLATIN, Tenn. September 16, 2014 - Nashville Business Journal?recognized Servpro Industries, Inc. as one of Middle Tennessee’s healthiest employers at an awards luncheon September 12th.
This is the fifth year for the Nashville Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers awards program, which measures and ranks local organizations committed to creating a healthy workplace. Servpro Industries, Inc. is one of eight companies recognized in the “Medium” category ? 100-499 employees; in all, 24 companies were recognized.
Some of the wellness program features factored in to Servpro Industries, Inc.’s recognition includes:

- Personal Training offered on-site
- Biometric Screenings; Results-based wellness program
- Health Risk Assessments
- Healthy options in the company cafeteria and vending areas
- Lifestyle behavior change programs
- On-site coaching sessions designed to address lifestyle risk factors
- Annual Health Fair
- Company sponsorship to participate in multiple running events, including the Music City Marathon
Servpro Industries, Inc. developed a Wellness Program in 2009 with the goal of improving the health of its employees, while reducing the expense associated with health insurance premiums. Free flu shots are offered annually and programs to manage weight, quit smoking and reduce stress are offered and promoted regularly. In July 2012, Servpro Industries, Inc. became a tobacco-free campus.
